On the 2nd of July 2022, DF-GMRTC facilitated “A day workshop on Update of Scientific knowledge in MDR-TB Management” targeted towards Laboratory scientists and clinicians who work at the forefront of Multi-drug resistant TB diagnosis, Treatment and care.

THEME: Emerging disease threats: Mitigation and surveillance strategies. the conference spanned areas such as Antimicrobial resistance patterns and emerging diseases, SARS-CoV-2: emerging trends and Novel diagnostics, One Health, Disease surveillance and pathogen discovery, climate change and Disease emergence, Infectious Diseases of Trade and Travels, and Ethics of Research in One-health Education.

Our Research

We aim to advance novel and innovative research in the areas of molecular epidemiology, genomics and immunodiagnostics of Tuberculosis, Leprosy and Buruli Ulcer towards promoting patient care.
